Attacking woe for Rams

Conor Doyle
Conor Doyle is the Rams only fit striker. The 18 year-old could be set for his first strikers role on Saturday following a successful reserve team game in which he scored in midweek.
Derby are short of fit strikers ahead of the visit of npower Championship leaders QPR.

Chris Porter may still only be fit enough for the bench as he continues to struggle with a hip problem while Tomasz Cywka has a fractured cheekbone.

Cywka looked a little out of sorts wearing a protective mask during his substitute appearance in the defeat at Coventry last weekend, although manager Nigel Clough could be forced to start the Pole.

Rob Hulse has missed the last two matches with an Achilles injury and he is likely to remain out. With Luke Varney on the brink of a loan move away from Pride Park, American teenager Conor Doyle is the only fully-fit forward so Dean Moxey, who played as a makeshift striker against Coventry, could continue up front.

Defender Russell Anderson has been sidelined since the opening day of the season with a groin strain but should return after the international break that follows this game...
