This part of Barnes recovery has gone well after Doctor Steadman performed the operation but the signs are he may well need a second operation to clear things up completely. This may well rule Barnes out of the start of next season.
Barnes broke his foot in the Rams play-off final with West Brom and has struggled with niggling injuries throughout last season.
