Was it passion, frustration or disrespect? that saw Bradley Johnson throw his shirt to the ground after being substituted during yesterdays draw with Bristol City.
The Derby midfielder was substituted in the 38th minute and threw his shirt to the ground as he came off before taking his seat on the Rams bench.
Many fans took the petulant show to mean he wasn't happy wearing the shirt, or was a show of anger toward manager Steve McClaren for taking him off.
Johnson went on social media to clarify the matter later Saturday evening stating, "Frustration was aimed at myself for a poor performance. Would never disrespect the shirt or the club". He went on to thank many fans who supported him on the social media site.
