After missing six games with a torn thigh muscle, John Brayford must have thought his personal injury problems were a thing of the past but he has had a reaction to the injury in the 77th minute of the Rams latest game against West Ham on Saturday evening.
With the Rams losing 3-1 at the time Rams manager, Nigel Clough thought it advisable to replace the right back, who was an ever present in last seasons Rams side. John felt a soreness in the area of the torn muscle but it is thought no furthe damage has been done.
It is touch and go whether he will be in the starting line-up against Brighton on Tuesday evening but Clough is happy that a ready replacement can be found in fellow injury recoveree, Paul Green, Paul had been out for seven months with knee ligament damage but like Brayford has played in the Rams last two games..
