Rams boss George Burley this evening pledged his future to the Rams by
signing a new contract.
He put pen to paper on a new one-year rolling deal.
Derby County chairman John Sleightholme said: "The board is delighted that
George sees his future with the club and we look forward to building on the
positive progress we have made since his arrival at Pride Park Stadium."
George says there was never any doubt in his mind about signing a new
contract with the Rams.
"I've enjoyed it so much from day one and the support of the fans has been
very much a part of that. I think they have appreciated that it has not been
an easy 18 months but now they can see that we are making progress."
