Burley out for months after new operation

Burley more injury woe

Craig Burley could be out of the Rams squad until Christmas after having to undergo his second operation of the year.

Burley had a small operation last month on his left Achilles but after recovering from the operation it was found that there was still a problem. A further scan has revealed that he must now have further surgery on the Achilles tendon.

The operation will take place on this Tuesday (23^rd July). Craig is said to be bitterly disappointed after the injury hadn’t healed after the first operation.
