After last seasons impressive Carling Cup run, the Rams will be eager to see just who they face in the first round of this seasons competition when the draw is made at 9.30am tomorrow (Tuesday 15th June).
The competition has been split into two sections, the North and South, with Derby being placed in the North, whilst near neighbours Burton Albion will contest the Southern section.
Each section has its seeded teams and Derby County are in that group, which means they will play one of the 35 remaining teams that are unseeded.
The competition is initially a one leg match and the first games will take place during the week commencing 10th August. This comes after the first league game of the season...
