Nigel Clough has asked that fans do not invade the pitch at the final whistle, so he, the players and management can show their appreciation to you the loyal supporters.
Rams fans are being urged by Nigel Clough not to invade the playing surface at full time, which has become somewhat of a tradition in recent years.

Nigel and the rest of the players and management would like the pitch kept clear for them to come on and thank all the fans for their unequalled support during the season. Clough went on to say "it is the fans who are the real stars of the season,". It is hoped that they will be able to show their appreciation back for your loyal support.

A day of carnival has been planned and things will get started at around 11.30am with music being played by a variety of people outside Pride Park, Stilt walkers will be handing out free T-shirts and face painters will be on hand to give you a make-over.

Many of you will have heard the song "Commons People" on YouTube but today sees the release of the CD. The songs writer and performer Kev Moore will also be out on the Pride Park pitch at 2.20pm to give a live rendition. Hear it now by clicking here

All that remains now is for the Rams to put in a sterling performance and to obtain the three points that will guarantee Championship football again at Pride Park for the 2009-2010 season....
