Ravanelli, new player coach?
Reports in a national newspaper has said that Fabrizio Ravanelli is to be approached to act as player manager on a caretaker basis.

The story comes from the Daily Mail newspaper. So far the only comment from the club has been on their official website www.dcfc.co.uk and states that the rumours are not backed up with any official quote from the club and this can only have an unsettling effect on the club.

Ravanelli was said to be visiting family in Italy this morning

There has also be speculation from other sources that Mart Poom could be sold in an effort to bring down the rising debt at the club.

The speculation comes as Derby are said to be having talks with Monaco reserve keeper Stephane Porato.

Stephane Porato, Poom's replacement?

Porato has been kept out of the first team at Monaco and is looking to get first team action, so any move for the 28 year old Frenchman is likely to see Poom sold.
