Deadline Day Latest

The transfer window closed without the expected departure of Polish international Grzegorz Rasiak, although a deal came very close to being completed with Wolves. A fee in excess of £2million had been agreed between the 2 clubs with the striker expressing a desire for the move.

The deal collapsed at the 11^th hour, however, with Rasiak unable to agree terms with the west midlands outfit.

One move which did go through on deadline day was the loan transfer of Pablo Mills to the M K Dons.

Mills had been linked with the club on a number of occasions last term.

The transfer of Paul Thirlwell to the club was completed this week as well. Thirlwell had initially been signed on loan in order to allow him to make his debut in the season opener against Brighton while the details were sorted.
