Deon Burton is to go one loan for a month to Second division Stoke City. Burton, who is still on the transfer list at Derby, will join Stokes chase for promotion.

At 25 years of age Burton may well prove to be an inspired loan and if he shows his early promise that he produced at Pride Park he may well tempt Stoke into a permanent deal.
Burton joined Derby County from Portsmouth in 1997 for a fee of £1million. He played 74 league games for the Rams scoring 22 goals. For more stats on Deon click here.
