Derby v Norwich

Last updated : 03 December 2010 By BBC Sport

Norwich have been dealt a blow with news that Andrew Surman will not play again in 2010 after suffering a recurrence of a knee problem.

Long-term injury victims Adam Drury, Steven Smith, Stephen Hughes, and Zak Whitbread remain sidelined.

MATCH PREVIEW

Fourth meets fifth in the Championship, with only goal difference separating these two sides - both of whom are six points behind second-placed Cardiff.

Derby have lost two of their last three matches, while Norwich are unbeaten in five and are fresh from a 4-1 thrashing of East Anglian rivals Ipswich last weekend.

But County are enjoying their best ever run at Pride Park, and the club's best sequence of home results since winning eight in a row at the Baseball Ground in 1995/96, when they went on to clinch promotion to the top flight.

The Rams' six consecutive victories on their own patch have helped them climb from the bottom five to fourth in the table. However, three points against Norwich would be their first home win this season against a side currently in the top half of the table.
