Thomas Gravesen may be the new Rams midfield General
The Rams are said to be looking at Celtic's ex-Danish International Thomas Gravesen as their midfield general for the return to the Premiership.

Gravesen is 31 years old now but has a wealth of experience having played for Everton in the Premiership as well as Real Madrid and his current club Celtic. The experience doesn't stop at club level as Thomas has 64 International caps for his native Denmark. He has played in Euro 2000 and 2004, with a trip to the World Cup in 2002. His International career ended in September 2006.

The midfielder has had at least two multi million pound moves during his career. He left SV Hamburg to join Everton for £2.5 million in 2000 before moving on to Real Madrid for £2.45m in 2005. Celtic is his present team which he joined for an undisclosed fee in 2006.

Derby are reported to have offered £2m for Gravesen, so obviously Billy Davies thinks he can still do a good job for the Rams in the Premiership.
