Derby County refused today to deny whispers originating from a BBC website that they were on the verge of selling goalkeeper Lee camp to Queen’s Park Rangers.
The youngster who is believed by many to be the best of the three senior keeper currently on the books at Pride Park was on loan at Loftus Road during the closing stages of last season and created a very positive impression during his time there.
Rumours a few weeks back had linked the youngster with a yearlong loan move to the Londoners, but the suggestion is that the current arrangement would be of a permanent nature.
The club claims no formal approach as yet, but Director of Football Murdo McKay admitted that it would be no surprise if a bid came in because of the way Camp performed in a loan spell which lead to automatic promotion.
