Derby County have a good representation at Euro 2016 and Jeff Hendrick has come forward as one of the Republic of Ireland's stars.
Playing in the opening Game of the Irish campaign he dominated midfield and nearly scored a spectacular goal, eventually hitting the bar.
The Rams of course had three players eligable for the clash against Sweden but Cyrus Christie and Richard Keogh not making the starting eleven.
The hard fought game ended in a draw but Hendrick deserved a Man of the Match award for his hard work and dominence of the midfield and attack. Hopefully Jeff will learn a thing or two out in the Euro's and bring that back to the Rams for the start of the 2016-17 season.
