Rob Hulse
Rob Hulse Rams Supporters Player of the Year
Rams leading scorer Rob Hulse has picked up the Derby County Supporters Clubs Player of the Season award.

Rams manager Nigel Clough was pleased that his strikers efforts have been rewarded. Hulse has been Mr consistent in terms of games played, he has featured in 50 out of 53 games played by Derby County this season and has picked up 17 goals along the way.

The 17 goal haul (so far) has been Hulse's best season for goals in the last 6 seasons. He last scored 17 in one season whilst at Crewe during the 2002-03 season.

Robbie Savage
Robbie Savage, picks up an award after being left out of the side before the arrival of Nigel Clough
Meanwhile Robbie Savage Savage has also picked up an award from the Heanor branch of the Supporters Club. Any type of award for Savage looked out of reach earlier this season when he was left out of the Rams squad and was looking for a loan move to lower league clubs. Robbie was saved from the scrap heap, so to speak, by Nigel Clough and has managed to get the best out of Savage during his time at the club and was again pleased to see one of his senior players rewarded for his hard work.

Savage, ever bashful thanked the supporters for their support and went on to say "At last they now recognise that I am a World Class player", tongue in cheek, of course!..
