rob hulseDerby County's player of the year and star striker Rob Hulse will not be sold according the the Rams Chairman of football, Adam Pearson.

Rumours had emerged that Middlesbrough had tabled £3m in a view to taking Hulse to the Riverside Stadium but Pearson is insistent that Hulse will be staying at Derby.

Pearson went on to say that, "Hulse is firmly in Ngel Clough's plans for the forthcoming season". He also followed up with, "the club are not looking to sell".

Hulse (29) made 54 appearances in all competitions last season and proved he has overcome the bad leg break which he suffered whilst with Sheffield United. Hulse scored 18 goals during the season, which also suggests he is getting back to his goalscoring best. This is something Nigel Clough wants to build on and regards Hulse as probably the best striker in the Championship for next season....
