John Gregory is he to be sacked or suspended?

There are rumours today (Thursday 20^th March) that Rams manager John Gregory may be removed from his job as manager of Derby County.

It is believed that the clubs directors would like to dismiss or suspend Gregory after claims of gross misconduct. This is seen as an attempt by the board to relieve themselves of having to pay off the 18 months remaining on John Gregory’s contract, worth an estimated £1.5million.

Gregory was still in defiant mood last night even after the 3-0 defeat at the hands of Derby’s bitterest rivals Notts Forest. The Rams manager insisting that he will see the job through at Pride Park and return Derby to their rightful position back in the Premiership.
