In a interview with Sky Sports Paul thanked the Wigan fans and management and he recalls with warm effection what they did for him whilst at their club and hopes they appreciate what he did in raising the club from the second division and into a Premiership club.
Jewell will also be effectionatly rembered by the wigan faithful for his managership which saw them cheat relegation last season by a slim margin.
