Paul Jewell, offered another job whilst he has been Rams manager

Derby County have released a shock story today saying that they were approached by another Premiership club for the services of manager Paul Jewell.

The story was shocking but realistically it was bound to happen given the Rams dire predicament at the base of the Premiership. However Paul Jewell has shown his commitment to Derby County by saying he is here for the long haul. He went on to say ""I'm 100 per cent committed to Derby, to trying to get it right here. I see the future at Derby as really exciting. It's really got my appetite whetted."

The club involved in the revelations is thought to be Fulham, who are desperately searching for a manager with proven ability to keep teams in the Premiership...
