Well he has finally put pen to paper after days of speculation and counter speculation, yes Johnny Russell has signed for Derby County on a four year deal.
The prolific Dundee United forward was rumoured to be in the sights of Celtic but any last minute spanner in the Rams works didn't occur and now the Rams look forward to a striker with the potential to score twenty or more goals in a season.
The addition of Russell is excellent news for fellow striker Conor Sammon, who it is hoped will form a formidable striking partnership in the coming season...
