Derby County central half and Captain Richard Keogh has put pen to paper to keep him with the Rams for another three seasons.
Keogh has just turned 30 and scored on his 200th game for Derby in Tuesday nights victory over Grimsby Town.
The deal will keep Keogh at the Ipro until 2019 and the news looks to have sealed Keogh's role within Nigel Pearson's squad.
Keogh had a succesful time this summer at the European Championships and hopes the faith Pearson has placed in him can help the Rams into the Premiership.
