Giorgi has been allowed to go home to think about his future, which isn't at Pride Park according to sources close to the player. Gregory has been critical of Kinkladze's work rate and even though Giorgi possesses plenty of skill he doesn't always hurt the opposition and get in penetrating runs.
Derby would like to recuperate some if not all of the £3million that Kinkladze cost when moving from Dutch club Ajax in April 2000. Galatasery are thought to be the main club interested in Kinkladze but as yet they have not made any approach. Manchester City have also been quoted as being interested in taking the Georgian International back to Maine Road, a club where he has already suffered two relegations.
Lets hope for all concerned that this matter can be sorted out quickly and to everyone's satisfaction.
