Georgi Kinkladze has spoken out publicly and said he wants to leave the club. The diminutive Rams midfielder said he “would not be happy to play in a lower league”. He also thinks it would be better all round for fans and himself if he moved to another club.
Georgi seems to have missed one fact however, he has been on the Derby County transfer list since mid December of last year and as far as we know no approach has been made for his services, either from a Premiership club, Nationwide side or from abroad.
There will undoubtedly be more players expressing a desire to leave Pride Park in the summer but they should all ask themselves this question,” Did I do my best for Derby County”.
Obviously from our relegation and several lack lustre performances, many players where or still are marking time and picking up a tidy wage packet for very little effort or commitment.
