Torrential rain cut short the friendly at Field Mill, Mansfield. There was 43 minutes played when the referee took the right decision by abandoning the game.

The score at the time was 0-0 and no real quality football could be played in the conditions.

The few highlights that did occure where a great pointblank save from Andy Oakes with 22 minutes gone. Adam Bolder had a chance to score for the Rams, he rounded the Mansfield Keeper but his shot hit the outside of the post.

Mansfield also had their chances and the second Christie on the pitch, this time for Mansfield had the Rams worried at time during the half.

Derby now look forward to a dry match at Saltergate as they take on Chesterfield tomorrow night.
