The Rams have offered a trail to former Norwich City midfield Captain Mark Fotheringham.The 25 year-old diminutive (only 5ft 8 inches tall) Scotsman has been training with Spanish side Espanyol but has indicated he has not made up his mind where he would like to be playing his football in the 2009-10 season.
Fotheringham does have a temperamental side to his character, this cost him the Norwich City Captaincy in March this year. He was substituted during a game and stormed off the pitch and down the tunnel and has never played for the club since. He is now out of contract and Nigel Clough thought he was worth a trial.
Clough has also extended an offer for Fotheringham to join the Rams during their pre-season training, which he seems happy to accept...
