The long running saga of Steve McClaren seems to have come to a conclusion as the club issue the statement that Steve McClarens contract has been terminated with immediate effect.
The statement was issued today at 6.00pm on the clubs website and it goes on to day that no further comment will be issued.
Mystery still surrounds the reasons for the statement, but would seem to suggest either the club has bitten the bullet and paid McClaren's contract up, or a negotiated settlement reached.
Derby County have also said that the search for a new manager/coach has begun, but no mention of previously named Paul Clement, currently asistant coach at Real Madrid...
