Morris holds back on new contract talks

Morris will be out of contract at the end of the season

Lee Morris will not be asking Derby County for a renewal of his contract for the present. Morris will be out of contract at the end of the season but the Rams hands are tied due to the clubs recent financial troubles.

“Many of my fellow players are facing the same situation,” Morris said and it is to his credit that he is not pressurising the club at this time. Derby however could well lose Morris for little or no money if the financial climate at the club does not get better before May next year.
