Dean Moxey, unaware of interest in him by Crystal Palace and doesn't know why the Rams sold him.
The latest player to leave Derby County football club hasn't a clue why he was sold.

Dean Moxey speaking to reporters of the Croydon Today website has stated that he doesn't know why Derby County sold him.
The 25 year old and his family seemed to have settled well at Pride Park following his move from Exeter in 2009 and Moxey has stated that he was happy playig for Derby County.

Moxey went on further to say he thought one reason for his last minute transfer was "Maybe they wanted the money?" The move was shocking for two reasons, firstly Rams CEO, Tom Glick has said that Derby County didn't need to sell players and secondly the Rams had struggled to find a left back and Moxey was playing well.

The first thing Moxey knew about any move was on Thursday of last week when his agent mentioned that Crystal Palace were looking for a left sided defensive player. He then had talks with Derby over the weekend and put pen to paper on Monday.

Moxey couldn't play his first game for Palace in midweek after a one match ban for his sending off against Forest when still a Derby County player but he hopes to make his debut for Palace at the weekend against Middlesbrough.

All at Derby County Mad wish him well at his new club.
