Rammie
Rammie will join the rest of his pals from the Football League to race for the Marie Curie Cancer Care charity tonight
Rammie takes to the field tonight, not to play football but to open this years Football League charity.

The Daffodil derby will take place tonight at Nottingham's Southwell race course and the Derby County Ram will be doing his best to win the one furlong contest.

Against our fleecy friend will be mascots from the football league. 72 invitations have gone out for the event, which will start at 7.45. The Race is a hurdles event with three straw bales having to be negotiated during the furlong sprint.

On a more serious side the event highlights the Marie Curie cancer care charity, which is the chosen charity of the Football League. The Charity will benefit from promotions by the 72 teams in the football league to be undertaken throughout the 2010-11 football season.

So good luck to Rammie and to the fund raising for Marie Curie Cancer Care. Please get down there tonight if you can and help raise as much as possible for this excellent cause.......... Now what are the odds for Rammie...?
