Adam Pearson is battling to keep the Rams in the Premiership
In the second of a series of interviews with Derby County Chairman Adam Pearson he tells fans that the team will be battling to stay in the Premiership.

Many fans had felt that plans were being prepared for a swift exit from the Premiership but the Chairman has indicated that money will be spent during the January transfer window. How much is spent will depend on the position the Rams find themselves in after the Christmas period.

Pearson insists that all that is possible is being undertaken to keep the Rams in the Premiership but will not be plunging the club into any more debt than they are in at present. He goes on to point out that although Manchester United are one of the top teams in the country and Europe but that success has come at a price and United find themselves in £800m worth of debt, something Pearson and the rest of the Rams directors are keen not to happen to Derby County.

Other topics included the easier access to tickets, the club are looking into having a secondary ticket outlet in Matlock.
Better choice and stock of merchandise in the Derby County shop was also looked at and Mr Pearson informs us that it is hoped a better choice and stock level will be looked at by the club.
