The Rams are one of three teams rumoured to be interested in Pearson, the others being Championship rivals, Wolves and Crystal Palace, Palace have already made an opening bid worth around £500,000, this may include a player swap deal.
Pearson is a life long Celtic fan and made his dream move to the Glasgow side from Motherwell in January 2004 for £350,000. He went on to be crowned young player of the year in that first season. There are two seasons left on the midfielders contract with Celtic but if anyone can make him move it may be fellow Scot Billy Davies.
