Rams and Florest melee
Rams and Forest square up earlier this season. Both sides recieved a fine for failing to control their players and officials. Now the fines add up to £115,000
Rams boss Nigel Clough and team Captain Robbie Savage attended a hearing for their third FA disciplinary offence of the season and and club has been hit hard with a £50,000.

The melee that cause this latest fine was between Rams and Swansea city players during their match at Prie Park on the 20th February this year. The offence of failing to control their players was denied by Derby County but the FA commission that heard the case at Birmingham City's St Andrews ground found that the Rams and Swansea were guilty of the offence.

This being the third such occasion the Rams have been found guilty of the offence, the commission came down hard and the Chairman of the commission added that he was deeply concerned.

The total sum of fines this season has now reached £115,000, a sum that must be causing concern to the directors and owners of the club.

Nigel Clough will also have to face the FA for his sending off during Easter Monday's match with Ipswich Town. Clough was sent to the stands after apparently using foul and abusive language toward the referee. This will be a personal matter and the club will not be penalised but doesn't reflect well on the club following the series of disiplinary offences this season...
