Rams have Chairman on the FA board

adam_pearsonDerby County's Director of Football has been elected onto the board of the football league.

Adam Pearson has taken up his position yesterday after being appointed onto the board by representaties of all 72 football league member clubs.

Pearson is one of six  members appointed to the board. Others include Ipswich, Sheffield United, Colchester, Tranmere and Barnet.

One of Pearson's and fellow board members first things discussed on the boards agenda was the troubles of League one side Southampton. The former Premiership outfit was relegated last season with mounting debts...
