It is not one of the positions that many would have thought Derby County needed to strengthen or change but the latest rumour is the Rams are taking a look at West bromwich Albions winger Callum McManaman.
McManaman is a forgotten man at WBA, having played just 18 times since his £4.75m move from Wigan Athletic in January 2015.
The highly experienced Premiership winger has won the FA Cup with Wigan during his 6 year stay with Athletic, earning himself the Man Of the Match award on that special day for Wigan.
WBA's manager Tony Pulis has however not been playing McManaman since taking over at the Hawthorns in 2015 and the Rams may well pick up a bargain in the 25 year old McManaman. Pulis however has been reluctant to sell the winger and would be looking to make a profit on the £4.75m they spent on him.
McManaman also has two and a half years left on his present contract, so negotiations would probably start around the five million pound mark for his services.
Callam is also a distant relative of former Liverpool winger Steve McManaman.
