Derby County will walk out on to the most technically advanced pitch in the football league on Saturday when they play Brighton and Hove Albion thanks to work by SIS pitches.
The state-of-the-art technology has been installed over the summer months and should benefit the Rams as the system gives the most advanced and perfect playing surface in the Football League.
Interwoven fibres give the pitch up to three times more durability and recovery times are also reduced as the grass grows with the fibres to give a smooth and level playing surface.
Leading clubs around the World have installed the system including Besiktas, Olympiacos, Celtic. The World Cup final in 2018 at the Luzhniki stadium in Russia will also have one of the SIS pitches.
