Eddie Johnson
Eddie Johnson reported to be wanted by the Rams
A new Johnson may be coming to Derby County. Rumours of an approach for the 23 year-old striker by the Rams are strong and with Johnson's current form he looks to be a shrewd target.

Johnson is currently playing for Kansas City and has so far scored nine goals in his first nine outings this season. The Florida born goalscorer is currently tied with Juan Pablo Angel, former Aston Villa striker, for the coveted MSL Golden Boot award, given to the leading scorer each season.

Attempts to bring Johnson to Europe in the past have failed when a $5m bid from Benfica failed. It is thought that Johnson would relish a chance in one of the big European leagues, with the Premiership top of the list.
