Rams look at further non league players

Mark Doninger scored for the Rams in the midweek reserve team game against WBA

The Rams may be on the hunt for yet another Non League midfield player, the person this time is Blyth Spartans twenty year old Mark Doninger.

Doninger has been with the Rams on a trial period recently and impressed Rams manager Nigel Clough when he played in the 2-1 win over West Bromwich Albion reserves on Wednesday night. The trialist scored in the 21^st minute of the game with a diving header. The game also saw Clough himself take to the pitch for Derby.

Clough has said that he hopes Doninger could be invited back to Pride Park in January. He is no stranger to league football and has played for Newcastle united prior to his release from the club.
