With the present season all but over for the Rams it is inevitable that rumours of in-coming players start. Leading the present rumours is Marvin Johnson the Oxford United left winger.
Marvin is 26 years of age and was born in Birmingham. He has played in the Scottish Premiership for Motherwell scoring one goal. He moved to Oxford United before the start of the current season and has so far contributed with five goals, one of which earned Oxford a place in this years Checkatrade trophy final at Wembley stadium, where Oxford take on Coventry City.
Oxford paid £170,000 for Johnson less than a year ago, but his excellent form this season may mean the Rams need to pay a good price for the winger, who can also play as a striker and right winger.
Derby will be keeping an eye on Johnson until the summer when they are expected to put a bid in.
