Rams look to Spaniard for clean sheets

Toni Jimenez looks for a loan spell with the Rams

Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Toni Jimenez is to have a two day trial with the Rams and if all is well could be joing Derby County till the end of the season.

The 31 year old Jimenez is seen as a replacement for injured Mart Poom he has an impressive CV being a gold medal winner in the 1992 Olympic games and also playing well in the Euro 96 Championship.

If all goes well Jimenez will sign and be in contension for a place in the team Tuesday 29th game against Charlton Athletic.
