With former Norwich City Bradley Johnson already a record signing and fans favourite, the Rams look again to East Anglia for a striker.
The man in question is 27 year-old Lewis Grabban, the Norwich striker signed for the canaries 18 months ago and in his time with Norwich has gained promotion to the Premiership.
Grabban has scored 12 goals for Norwich during his time with them, in just 37 games. His scoring record is impressive for his fomer club Bournemouth, as he put the ball in the net 35 times in just 87 games.
Rotherham also had great service from Grabban, with 18 goals scored in just 43 games.
The rumours have yet to be confirmed by Derby County but with goals drying up for Rams main striker Chris Martin, maybe a fresh face would get the goals flowing again in Derby's promotion push in the New Year.
