Derby County have continued their search for a manager with just four candidates now in the running.
Former Everton and Wigan boss Roberto Martinez has been linked with the job and may be the ideal replacement for interim manager Darren Wassell. Wassell will be given an opportunity to impress the selection committe of Mel Morris, Sam Rush and Harry Rednapp.
Others in the Rams sights are Former Leicester City boss Nigel Pearson, who gained promotion with the Foxes and has experience of Premiership management.
The group of four if made up with Gary Rowett, the former Rams player is currently in the Birmingham City managers job, so permission to hold talks with him would have to be obtained before any formal approach could be made.
