Daniel Cousin wanted by the Rams
Derby County are looking to raid Scotland yet again in an attempt to get the goalscoring power they need to avoid relegation. The Rams are said to be interested in signing 30 year-old striker Daniel Cousins.

Cousin made his name and reputation whilst at French club Lens, scoring 32 goals in 88 matches. A move to Ranger in the summer has seen him play 18 times this season, including Champions League matches, but 8 of those appearances have been as a substitute.

Although Cousins has only been with Rangers since the summer it is felt he is not getting a regular first team place, although he has started 10 games and scored 6 goals. A move to Derby should guarantee him first team football and at the highest level.

A clause in Cousins current contract would enable him to leave Rangers if the Rams were prepared to pay £2m. No comment has yet been made by the Rams on the move...
