Steve McClaren has bolstered his troops with the loan signing of George Thorne. The 21 year old midfielder will add depth to an already strong midfield squad,
Thorne has recently returned from a serious right knee injury after spending ten months recovering from an anterior cruciate ligament rupture. The injury happening against Everton in the Premiership on Saturday 30th January 2013. It was his fourth league start of that season and has since not featured in the Baggies first team squad.
A highly rated young midfielder, Thorne will look to re-establish his fitness and skills during his his four month loan to Derby County. He has International experience, playing for the England U19 team and of course experience in the Premier league.
