Rams sign the Duke and Stewart from Watford

Paul Jewell has snapped up a former player that he managed at Wigan. Nathan Ellington (the Duke) has signed on an initial year long loan from Watford. The loan was said to have cost the Rams a substantial amount and if all goes well during the season Ellington may well join on a free transfer when his contract runs out with Watford next season.
Ellington scored 59 goals for Wigan in 134 matches under the managership of Paul Jewell. Rams fans will be hoping that Jewell can again re-kindle Ellingtons scoring prowess and at only 26 he has many years of service to give.
Joining Ellington will be Watford team mate Jordan Stewart. Stewart can play at left back or on the left of midfield, again a young man at 26 and could be a vital part of Jewells re-building. Jordan has signed a three year deal with the Rams.
