Rams take on Gresley in Charity match

Derby County
take on Gresley Rovers tonight (7-30pm) at the Moat Ground. The game is the first of this year’s Bass Charity Vase competition.

The Rams hope to improve on their five-nil drubbing non-league Shrewsbury Town at the weekend.

Derby County will take on archrivals Nottingham Forest At Burton’s Eton Park on Thursday 24th in the same Bass Charity Vase.

If the Rams are successful in the two games they could play for the vase on Thursday 31st July, again at Burton’s Eton Park ground.

This will be the 114th year that the vase has been played for and this year’s competition sees seven teams take part. Apart from the Rams there will be sides representing Burton Albion, Gresley Rovers, Notts Forest, Notts County, Stoke City and WBA
