Rams to go into administration if takeover bids are not accepted today (Monday 2
nd September).
BBC Radio Derby today announced that the Rams board would today think over the two bids to take over Derby County Football club.
The bids are from or include ex directors of the club Peter Gadsby and Richard Kirkland and a second bid that includes Stuart Webb. The actual sum involved has not been released but is said to be in the region of £15million.
Rams Chairman Lionel Pickering is also expected to stand down from his position with the club when one of the bids is accepted.
