Derby County have been given another blow in their search for a striker. Fijian International Roy Krishna was due to have an extended trial with the Rams but developments in his request for residency in Newzealand, where he now plays may scupper the move.
Krishna (25) has been a prolific striker for Waitaker United last season and all agree he has now out grown the league and needs to move to a higher standard of football.
The problems started with his move after he was granted residence status in Newzealand. This now means he needs to stay in the Country for more than 184 days to qualify for permanent residency. This now means he would not be available for a full season with the Rams.
So the Rams miss out on the Fijian International because of technicalities.
