A chilly night at the Ipro Stadium but the Rams beat the cold and forced a deserved draw against Liverpool U23.
Derby fielded three first team players returning from injury in Craig Bryson, Marcus Olsson and Mo Camara and each came through the game well.
Rams player of the match had to be goalkeeper Jonathan Mitchell, with impressive saves to keep the scores level. The Rams did have their chances at the other end of the field but ended the night satisfied with the draw.
Derby County now remain 11th and in the bottom two of the Premier league 2 division 1 table on 9 points, two points ahead of Tottenham Hotspur and one point behind Reading.
