Thank-you for all those people who voted on the Derby County Mad Player of the Season, some 51 votes were cast and the winner won with somewhat of a landslide.
All players listed on the vote received at least one vote. Players with that single vote were Other?, Craig Fagan, Matt Oakley, Michael Johnson, Darren Moore, Arturo Lupoli Dean Leacock and Morten Bisgaard.
Player with more than one vote are: David Jones, Seth Johnson and Mark Edworthy with a brace a piece.
Now we come to the top three players as voted for by you the Derby County Mad public. In third place with five votes comes Derby's new young hope, Giles Barnes. In runners-up spot comes a guy who has literally saved the Rams many valuable points this season, it's the Rams goalkeeper Stephen Bywater.
This leaves us with the most popular player as voted for by Derby County Mad fans, with a huge total of 24 votes. This man was thought by most to be over priced when he was the very first player to come to Derby County after Billy Davies took over. Well he has repaid his £1million transfer fee and will hopefully continue, when he has served his two match ban. So enough of the clues, Derby County Mad player of the season 2006-2007 is:……………….
